16m Composite Displacement Hull Power Cat

16m Composite Displacement Hull Power Cat

This long range displacement power cat is built using the ATL Composites ‘Duflex’ system, PVC foam cores, E glass skins, and epoxy resign.

The design has ocean passage making range at a relatively high cruising speed. Top speed will be approx. 26 knots with cruising in a range of 12 to 18 knots to suite range required and sea conditions.

The emphasis is on comfort rather than speed and plenty of space for two couples to live aboard along with all of the equipment and storage required for long trips in remote places with no easy access to fuel, water, and food.

The open fly bridge will be enjoyed when cruising in warmer climates and the inside helm station will be very comfortable when they are ranging south in colder conditions. The lounge seating next to the lower helm and the upper helm will keep everyone on board in touch with what is happening around them on passage.
